Built on the same last as the NEPAL EVO - the BATURA is roomy in the toe box but feels and fits somewhere between the closer cut TRANGO and the classic NEPAL. Just what we want.
This new model seamlessly integrates a thermally expanded PE foam and polyamide insulated inner boot with a streamlined Elastic Cordura / Schoeller Dynamic waterproof membrane gaiter. This improvement keeps water out and better vents moisture - to keep your socks dry and feet warm. Updated too is the twisted and reversed waterproof Riri Storm Zip - for both better protection and greater flexibility while hiking and climbing.
Other features built in by La Sportiva - Vibram friction rubber rand, Vibram Impact Brake System outsole and SBR Aircushion midsole (red). Insole sports 9mm Ibi-Thermo insulation for protection from ground up cold and the 8-9 mm TPU/PU Inserts (green) provide a solid platform for crampon attachment.
