PETZL Charlet M10 CRAMPONS

New tech hybrid crampon has rigid vertical frame member up front with semi rigid hinged connection to flat formed rear frame that conforms to your boot's sole - both in curve and camber for precise point placement. Forged "3 D" front points feel "sticky" and can be rigged as mono (centered or offset) or dual points to suit your style. Multiple front point mounting holes also allow different length options to conform to prevailing conditions or climbing styles and postures. Points can be rigged longer on the outside to vary penetration timing, ice displacement and angle of feet (for rock moves). Secondary multi-points are flared and raked for hooking and edging and short "milk teeth" under ball of boot give traction on knobs, flakes and spikes. The M10's offer individual tuning options and are a great all around crampon. Extra long connecting bar required for boot sizes 45 and up.
