Equal "D" shape of LIGHT D is a classic favorite that channels loads to the strongest part of the biner (the spine) and is best when used with skinny runners. Narrow profile racks compactly on gear sling or harness and small "nose" makes clipping small piton eyes and old bolt hangers a snap. Individually tested to 11.5 kN (2467 lbf).
