The PIRATE measures 4 1/8"
over all and has a big 1" gate opening -
thanks to it's side swing gate geometry. Use either
the SCREW-LOCK or AUTO-LOCK (pull collar back,
twist and open) as your new harness and belay
biner. The AUTO-LOCK is something to be felt and
appreciated... with - perfect "timing"
action - resulting in ease and speed of operation.
What further sets the PIRATE apart from others
in it's class is the smooth rounded edges on the
locking collar, the no-snag keylock nose and warning
graphics - that tell you if your biner is locked
securely... or not. Recommended for use with all
belay devices. Also available in black. Made in
the USA.
