C4 CAMALOTS

Expanding the range and lightening your load, new C4 CAMALOTS redefine the traditional favorite SLCD of crack climbers everywhere. Each new C4 is 16-20% lighter and sports an easy to grab low bulk thumb loop that can also be clipped directly - for efficiency while anchoring or aid climbing. Rather than employ a single stiff wire cable and bulky swage to form the end loop, C4 Camalots are formed from a continuous cable loop with high tech overmolded sheath for a thin profile and greater flexibility. As always CAMALOT C4's can be distinguished from other SLCD's by their dual steel axles - to which opposing cams are mounted. This provides an awesome expansion range for each size CAMALOT - up to 50% greater than most single axle designs. This means CAMALOTS can work in a wide variety of placements and are particularly useful in pockets and flared cracks. . Sizes and size range of #0.4 thru #3 remain the same as "previous generation" while the new #4 (think old style 3.5-4) will get used way more. #5 and #6 cover a lot of off-width territory and add 11/16" at the upper end of the range. Now you can clip directly into the thumb loop on the new CAMALOT C4's for ease of configuring anchors or standing higher in your aiders. Order up a set and lighten your rack by a pound and a quarter.
