4 CAMS are designed with the center cams
positioned close together creating a central
pivot point to minimize "walking" and keep
the overall width of the unit as narrow
as possible. This increases security and
maximizes placement options. Unique is DMM's
free floating axle which allows each side
of wire "frame" to flex independently
providing better stability - particularly
when placed in a diagaonal or horizonatal
crack or weighted - as in aid climbing.
Serrated free floating trigger bar (drilled
for optional 2mm retrieval cord), new extendable
5-10" Dyneema quickdraw (saves the
weight and bulk of a quickdraw) and full
strength (10 kN) machined cam stops. Lose
weight - an entire set weighs a scant 2
lb 10 oz! Order "PRO CAM set"
with 35 gram SPECTRE color matched carabiners
- for the ultimate in light weight and rapid
identification.
