The ZOOM uses special and economical alkaline DURACELL 4.5v BATTERY that yields 9 hrs burn time with 4.5 v Halogen Bulb (provided) or 19 hrs with optional Standard Bulb. Optional E13 Battery Adapter ($6.50) allows use of 3 AA alkalines... that can be found at every truck stop and super market.
