Balance Line
Mammut FLASH 10.5 Climbing Rope
The FLASH is one of the most popular
and robust ropes in Mammut's Balance Line sustaining
10 Standard Test Falls! The key to Mammut's balanced
construction is the optimum combination of properties:
the best ratio of core to sheath mass, good abrasion
properties and overall flexibility... attributes
that pay off for the all around climber and are
particularity well suited for those intending
to rack up lots of miles on trad and big wall
climbs. The FLASH is also a good strong choice
for climbers who tip the scales in excess of the
the 80 kg (176 lb) test weight. Like all Mammut
ropes the FLASH is compact woven with ultra sonically
welded ends that permanently join core and sheath
(no fraying) plus a middle is marked comprised
of two friction resistant colored marks.
Use the FLASH as your all around rope for anything
climbing. Choose the best length and Duodess pattern
change (at middle) to suit your needs.
