The BLADE cuts both ways - indoors and out. What's cool about this sport climbing shoe is the support and stability that the canvas lining provides combined with the sensitivity of a half midsole that extends around the perimeter of the forefoot. This gives the BLADE it's edge - for precise placement on thin holds and "pointing" in pockets. But there's more - under the "heart" of the forefoot there's an anitomical cutaway for softness and sensitivity while smearing, maximum frictional area for standing on big bumps and an "inside" edge for hanging on just about any feature. I also liked the comfort and ability to wear the BLADE for sequential sport pitches without feeling the need to take them off and free my digits.
