BOREAL FLYERS '86
TECHNICAL APPROACH SHOES
The FLYER '86 is the reintroduction
of the original approach shoe the Fire Flyer
- a category first introduced by Boreal
in 1986. Many of us wore the Flyer around
town, bouldered in them and even lead easy
routes. The new FLYER 86 features a cush
EVA mid-sole, low volume canvas lined fore-foot
for climbing performance and a calf skin
lined heel for comfort. FLYERS 86 are also
equipped with the custom sticky Vibram HFS
mini-lug sole that sports a solid climbing
zone up front and has a built-in toe bumper.
In addition to durability this combo has
best balance of traction on the trail and
good friction on rock. Uppers are crafted
from. Best for all crag and technical approaches,
via ferrata, casual climbs plus looks smart
around town. Specify EURO sizing. Made in
Spain. |
