JET ULTRA PACK

The JET ULTRA is the pack I run hills with most weekdays before going to work*. It has near perfect balance (better than I) and zero load shift - up, down or sideways - just what we need for active motion sports like climbing. It is also my choice as a simple, no nonsense, bells-and-whistles-be-damned summit pack.

At just under a pound empty, it holds all my essentials without holding me back. We call it the ULTRA because it is the lightest of the JET PACK series, yet is fully functional, weather tight and - like it's burlier brothers - climbs really well.

Each JET ULTRA is crafted from lightweight, tear resistant and waterproof laminate with reinforced back and bottom and fitted with hydrophobic polyester webbing. Each seam is stitched twice, bound with tape (then stitched again) and all straps are anchored with a bar tack.

The JET ULTRA sports lightly padded shoulder straps, an internal zippered mesh smart phone & security pocket and a removable foam pad. Take the pad out (easy) and the ULTRA rolls up to the size of a hoagie - to stow in luggage or your brief case. Expedition climbers: use as your carry-on, to compress your sleeping bag or as a giant "back pocket" on any of our FLEXFRAME™ mountaineering packs.
