SAFETY NOTICE A defect may appear on SIMOND ice screws manufactured since January 2000. It is a micro crack, difficult to see, that can grow larger over time. It appears on the handle of the ice screw at the junction with the tube. We don't want our customers to run any rist, so as a preventive measure, we have decided to recall all our ice screws. We ask you to stop using SIMOND ice screws bearing the batch numbers indicated below (even if they seem normal), and contact us through our website about returning them for examination. Please accept our apologies for the inconvenience it may cause you. Ice screws marked with the following batch number: 304, 326, 237, 344, 373, 374, 404, 432. The number of the lot is obtained by reading the first three numbers marked on the handle of these models:
