C.A.M.P. Tri Cam .0125 - June 13, 2008
Yesterday we were contacted by a customer friend who noticed a crack in one of his Tri Cam .0125 near the drilled hole that the scroll pin is inserted to attach the sling. Upon casual inspection of our in-house stock we found 2 more Tri Cams .0125 with similar cracks and notified the U.S. Distributor and CAMP Italy - who will likely have an official response next week. Please
take care to inspect both sides of each nut around the scroll pin hole
and look for cracks that may have developed. The use of a simple magnifying
glass may help you see more clearly as the surface of the nut has a bead
blasted finish and is somewhat reflective. Please see the photo of ours
below for an example of what to look for. If you happen to notice any cracks (or any other irregularity) please contact us right away for a Return Authorization and Shipping Instuctions. We will glady replace your product(s) with fresh factory stock that has been re-inspected or provide a refund as you may choose. Thanks
for your patronage, cooperation and understanding. Larry & Jane PS: See our www.mtntools.com/techtips/index.htm for other PSAs and Recall Notices Mountain
