SCARPA PHANTOM 8000 The older PHANTOM with Vibrams Zero Gravity Lite sole and Microporous EVA midsole is lighter than previous model. The technical high altitude triple boots are ready to tackle any route in their given range. From the inside out the PHANTOM is about warmth and fit. The PHANTOM 8000 sports reflective aluminum in the footbed with Cocona® for moisture management and no-stink performance on long expeditions. Built-in warmth with a multi-layer removable inner boot of EVA, Primaloft 400 and and heat reflective aluminum film. The 6000 features lower bulk closer fit - for more technical climbs in lower and warmer environs, Primaloft MicroPile & EVA inner boot and Vibram rubber perimeter outsole. The integrated gaiter features KTech, STech and SuperTech Fabric with OutDryr® materials to deliver the perfect blend of flex and protection. Both employ the proprietary waterproof radial zipper which provides better ankle flexibility without "bunching".
