BELAY CHAIN

The BELAY CHAIN provides more options, better efficiency and individual loop strength - for positioning yourself at the belay, while ascending and also rappelling. The BELAY CHAIN can also be used as a top rope anchor sling - with multiple options. Each BELAY CHAIN has 6 interlocked loops and is 38" overall. After two seasons experimentation and testing by our climbing team, we have deduced that multiple varied length loops provide superior versatility and "fit" for all climbers - big or small. Suit your preference and distance to loops and clip in points by choosing one end (or the other) to fine tune your rig, thereby positioning your rappel device, ascenders or distance to your anchor's master point for maximum ease and control. A half twist is bar-tacked into each end loop to streamline the BELAY CHAIN's girth hitch attachment to your harness.
Note: Be sure to remain tied (to the rope) while ascending and maintain at least two separate connections to the rope while ascending or rappelling. While using your BELAY CHAINS never climb above an anchor or your attachment point and keep BELAY CHAIN taut to limit forces in case of a slip. Aid climbers will choose Nylon for more dynamic stretch. Racks sweet too - loops nest within one another. Assorted two color combos for "right" and "left" use while ascending.
