DMM SWITCH

The SWITCH is built tough to stand up to mixed climbing "abuse" - and sports a double riveted shaft and one-piece hot forged handle with full strength clip in hole - convenient for mid pitch "rests" and also beefing up the belay anchor. The burly ergonomic handle is over molded with a grippy, insulating cover - for extra traction (bare handed or gloved) and for camming in cracks. It also features a cord eyelet for attaching the accessory FREEDOM LEASHES - whenever a dropped tool would be a disaster.
SWITCH up to this high clearance tool for ice, mixed or technical alpine. One piece T Rated ICE PICK is fitted with either hammer or adze and equipped with removable weights - to add or subtract 1.6 oz / 45 g per tool. Weights on for ice, weights off for delicate dry tooling as you may prefer. This assembly is secured with two hex head bolts in the vice-like aluminum "jaw" - which also sports a carabiner clip in hole. As radical as the SWITCH's shaft looks, you'll appreciate more power and less strain (due to a more neutral wrist position) and greater "reach" for more secure placements in ice and on rock.
