The new Petzl QUARK is one of our
most versatile technical mountaineering and ice
climbing tools. Out of the box it is ready for
a day at the ice park or your next alpine adventure.
Now equipped with a lightweight HAMMER, ICE PICK,
the new TRIGREST and GRIPREST, the QUARK is ready
to climb leashless... or you can add a pair FREELOCK
Leashes (below) to stay connected to your tools.
For expeditions or snow filled couloirs, your
new QUARKS can be streamlined and stripped down
to the bare minimum - 16.5 oz (460 g). Regardless
of terrain, the curved upper shaft provides clearance,
while the straight lower shaft sports an insulating
over molded grip that can be easily plunged into
snow. Rig for ice (order PICK WEIGHTS) or mixed
(add DRY PICK, remove HAMMER, ADZE & WEIGHTS)
as desired and instantly adjust the TRIGREST to
accommodate your hand size and either lightweight
ice gloves or thick mountaineering mitts - as
needed. Made in France.
