The BARUNTSE is a lightweight addition to our double mountain boot line - suitable for all glacier and mountain climbs. Fit is med to wide and available up to size 50 (US15) to accomodate North American foot shapes and sizes. The weight is down and performance up thanks to the high density expanded PE insulating outer boot which is covered and protected by a non-woven net and PU Tech anti-abrasion film. Worn inside is a Cordura skinned thermo-formable EVA bootie sporting 7mm of high density insulation. Coupled together you will experience a good, conforming comfortable fit. Keeping the cold down and out is Sportivas 6 mm Ibi-Thermo insole with aluminum reflective insulating barrier. Hiking comfort further enhanced by SBR Air cushion midsole and traction / braking from tried and true Montagna out sole.
