In the event of a fall, SCREAMERS are designed to reduce the impact force on your free climbing protection piece by spreading the force over a longer period of time. These load limiters increase the integrity of marginal placements and also save wear and tear on your climbing rope. A linear zigzag pattern of stitching keeps carabiner gate vibration to a minimum while dissipating impact forces smoothly. 9" SCREAMERS are recommended on anything less than "bombproof" protection - small nuts & micro nuts, sketchy cam placements or questionable bolts. Lead on!
